Function: Campaigns, PR & Communications (internship)
Period: 3 Feb 2025 – 15 July 2025 (4-5 months, start/end date in consultation)
Hours: 3-5 days a week (negotiable)
Internship fee: 350 euro
About us
The Electors creates impactful productions to activate young people on social issues surrounding democracy, elections & citizenship. Through political shows, educational programs and major events, we engage a wide and young audience on important social issues. Our clients and cooperation partners include the European Commission, various ministries, municipalities, Dutch companies, NGOs and cultural institutions. .
We work in a young team consisting of the founders of The Electors, programmers, freelancers and other interns. Because we work in a small dynamic team, you will have many responsibilities, and there is room for your own input and initiatives.
Your role at The Electors
As an all-round marketing and communication intern you will be involved in creating content and setting up a content and communication strategy for our productions. Think not only about social media, but also, for example, writing to the press and taking care of our newsletter. With several important events on the agenda such as the 75th anniversary of NATO, our annual Europe Night you will not only be involved in an overall marketing and communications strategy, but you will also focus on online campaigns. You will also be involved in the preparations of our new theater show and day-to-day operations. In short, this means that you:
- Be involved in meetings with clients, producers and new collaborations
- Contributes to the development of an overall marketing & communications strategy for The Electors
- Manages the various social media channels and develops sharp content for them
- Getting to work on creating an online campaign around the various events in the fall
Using your creative ideas to grow The Electors’ online visibility
What do we offer?
- A 4-5 month internship between February 3, 2025 and July 15, 2025 (flexible start/end date)
- By agreement, a work week of 32 – 40 hours
- An internship stipend of €350 for a full-time internship

Do you recognize yourself in the profile below?
- You are still studying or have just graduated (MBO/HBO/WO), preferably in the direction of marketing, communications or business administration
- You have experience working in Canva / Tiktok / Instagram
- You have an affinity for writing
- You have already gained some (work) experience in the field of (online) marketing
- You have a social interest and know what is going on in politics
- You are creative, enterprising, independent and responsible
- You speak and write both Dutch and English
