Campaign Team Only around 50% of Dutch young people go to the polls for the municipal elections. More than 30 young volunteers joined the Kiesmannen Campaign Team during this period and organized various initiatives for two months to inform other young people about the importance of these elections. For example, in the weeks before the elections, the team visited MBO schools with a ‘real’ voting booth, to allow young people to practice filling out their voting pass.
Editorial team The Kiesmannen editorial team (consisting of 8 ambitious students/starters) spent three months studying and analyzing the party programs of the parties in the Amsterdam city council. The team spoke with aldermen, council members and journalists to get the best possible picture of what is going on in the Amsterdam council. All input was translated into a compelling Election Show that was performed by de Kiesmannen at more than 20 locations in Amsterdam (including 2 sold out shows in Paradiso Amsterdam).
