the electors

De Kiesmannen makes impactful productions to activate young people about social themes such as climate change, the future of Europe and elections. By means of political theater shows, podcasts, events and campaigns, we try to involve a broad and young audience in a new way with urgent social themes.

The internship

As a creative intern you are primarily concerned with creating content & developing a content strategy for our theater shows, public events and social media. You will also be involved in our new European Foundation DE/MO and the preparations for our election shows (eg in Paradiso A’dam). We work in a young team consisting of the founders of the Kiesmannen, a few freelancers and other trainees. Because we work in a small dynamic team, you will be given a lot of responsibilities, but you are also expected to provide your own input and dare to show initiative.

Tasks

• You develop (together with the team) a content strategy for autumn ’22
• You come up with creative ideas to further develop the Kiesmannen marketing technically
• You design cool content and write sharp posts
• You will be involved in meetings with clients, producers and new collaborations
• You are responsible for creating and posting content on various social channels
• You will be involved in everyday activities

Requirements

• You are still studying or have just graduated (HBO/WO)
• Skilled in Adobe Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Indesign (also Adobe Premiere or Final Cut)
• Preference is given to someone with (work) experience in the field of (online) marketing
• Preference is given to media/art or academic background
• Preference is given to someone with a strong political/social interest
• Available for a period of 4 or 5 months
• Creative, responsible, independent and initiative
• Ambitious, likes to work hard
• Languages: Dutch & English
